SuperHero Weekend featuring Women of Wonder Day! October 29th - 30th, 2011!! We had a charity auction and other fun activities to benefit SAFE in Hunterdon! The event took place between 12 noon - 5 pm during Trick or Treat Mother Nature Style! Our thanks to all the SUPER Artists, Super Heroes and Customers who braved the unusal snowfall and aftermath!

This year we raised over $6000 thanks to all the wonderful donations by very talented people. This event wouldn't be possible without the amazing contributions of so many people! My thanks to everyone who has given their time and talents, to make life better, for people going through a very rough time. And a special shout out to Nick Mockoviak, Neil Vokes, Tom Schloendorn, Charles Wilson III, Jamal Igle, and JK Woodward for coming to the store and doing some awesome sketches for those able to make it! You guys are TRULY SUPER in my book!

SAFE in Hunterdon is a not-for profit agency serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.

Women of Wonder Day is an annual event replacing Wonder Woman Day created by best-selling author Andy Mangels , as a benefit for Women and Children's Domestic Violence Shelters. Past events were a spectacular success, and Women of Wonder Day 2011 will take place in Portland OR, Flemington NJ, and San Antonio TX. Comic Fusion is pleased to be working alongside Mangels and Fred Bronagugh to make our Women of Wonder Day fun for all ages, and a benefit to our local community!
